General Information

This is a three-day dikebike fundraising ride in beautiful Baja, Mexico in support of CDL Ministries. This trip is for intermediate to advanced riders having their own reliable dirt bike and proper riding gear. Bikes, gear bags, tools and spare parts will be trailered to Mexico in a secure enclosed trailer. Participants are responsible for having adequate fire and theft insurance on their motorcycle.  

Costs

The trip cost is approx. $1000 per rider (TBD). This includes airfare (Bellingham to San Diego), ground transport into Mexico, food, accommodations, and transportation of your bike (to and from Mexico). Rider is responsible for transport to and from Bellingham Airport (carpooling is encouraged).

Restrictions

The campus providing ride accommodations is affiliated with CDL Ministries and the local church.  There will be no alcohol consumption or smoking permitted on campus property.  In the interests of safety, this will be a dry ride.  Alcohol consumption during the ride will not be permitted.  Off campus alcohol consumption (in moderation) after riding hours is permitted and rider will be responsible for any and all costs.

How much money do I have to raise?

All participants in the Baja Ride are required to raise a minimum of $1200 for CDL Ministries (on top of the trip cost). 100% of all donations raised goes to help single Mom’s and Kids in Primo Tapia Mexico. To find out more about CDL please visit our website at https://casadeluzmexico.com/

Can friends and family make a donation to my fundraising goal?

Yes. We will send you a custom link where they can support you by clicking a "Donate" button. Donors who donate online with a valid email address will receive a tax receipt via email. Donors who mail in a donation will receive their receipt by email if they give a valid email address, and by mail if they do not give an email address but they do give a valid mailing address.
