Single mothers continue to show up at the doors of Casa de Luz because they are in a desperate situation. Mothers like Maribel….

With three children in tow, she traveled a long way to escape the violence they were experiencing and to give her children a fresh start. But providing for their needs by herself is difficult, if not impossible.

This is why Casa de Luz is here – for Maribel and others like her.
