My Story

Zuzeth and her older sister Cielo are the daughters of single mom, Elizabeth. Zuzeth was a very quiet, shy little girl who rarely smiled when she began at CDL in the spring of 2018. It has been a joy to see God heal her heart, and to see her trust us more and express herself more freely. She can now often be found playing on the CDL park with her girlfriends, playing board games, and giggling. After separating from her husband, Elizabeth was struggling to make ends meet until a woman from the local church recommended her for a job cleaning local condominiums. Recently, Elizabeth has taken the step to launch her own business cleaning local condominiums. Her children are now cared for at CDL while she has stable, full-time work. Please continue to pray for Elizabeth, Cielo and Zuzeth, that God would bless them, provide for them, and they would feel a sense of community and support as part of the CDL family.
