My Story

Kevin, and his brothers Randy and Santiago, are the children of single mother, Virginia. They have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Kevin is a very friendly and outgoing boy who loves to play Monopoly and soccer with his friends at CDL. This year he has really progressed in his reading and math skills, thanks to the help of his CDL teacher! Kevin’s Mother Virginia came to CDL asking for help with her sons after she separated from her husband. Virginia’s mother, who had been caring for the boys while Virginia worked, also got a full-time job and was no longer able to stay with them. Virginia works at a local hotel. She is an extremely hard worker and dreams of having a home for her children one day. We are so thankful to have Kevin, Randy, Santiago and Virginia as part of the CDL family. Please pray for Virginia, that God would heal her heart from all that she’s been through and give her the strength and wisdom that she needs each day in raising her sons.
