My Story

Lexy is the only child of single mother, Judith. Lexy and Judith have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Lexy loves to dance and to do anything artistic! She has thrived amidst the stability and love that CDL has provided for her and has made lots of friends. This year we have really seen Lexy improve in her reading and math with the support of her CDL teacher. 

Lexy’s mother Judith came to CDL asking for help with her daughter after she separated from her husband. She came to Primo Tapia to live with her sister and to start her life again. Judith works at a local hotel as a housekeeper and works very hard to provide for her daughter’s needs. She shared that she dreams of providing a good, safe, and stable life for her daughter Lexy and is willing to work hard in order to achieve that. 

We are so thankful to have Lexy and Judith as part of the CDL family. Please pray for their hearts, that God would heal them from all that they have been through and that they would come to know Him.
