My Story

Lluvia and her brother Lizandro are the children of single mother Rosario. They have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Lluvia is a lovely little girl who enjoys drawing and art. It is a joy to see how Lluvia and Lizandro have thrived amidst the stability and love that CDL has provided for them. She has done very well in school this year. We are so proud of her! 

Lluvia’s mother Rosario came to CDL asking for help after separating from her husband. She moved from where she had been living and had no one in Primo Tapia to support her with her children while she worked. Rosario works at the Primo Tapia town office and works very hard to provide a stable home life for her children. 

We are so thankful to have Lluvia, Lizandro and Rosario as part of the CDL family. Please pray for Lluvia and Lizandro, that God would heal their hearts, and for Rosario, that God would give her the strength and peace that she seeks and that He would heal her as well.
