Santiago, and his older brothers Randy and Kevin, are the children of single mother, Virginia. They have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Santiago is a very friendly little boy who can often be found on the CDL field playing soccer, or playing pogs with his friends. He is a very intelligent little boy who does very well in school.
Santiago’s Mother Virginia came to CDL asking for help with her sons after she separated from her husband. Virginia’s Mother, who had been caring for the boys while Virginia worked, also got a full-time job and was no longer able to stay with them. Virginia works at a local hotel. She is an extremely hard worker and dreams of having a home for her children one day. Virginia is part of CDL’s “Flourish” Women’s group, and is also learning English in our ESL class. She believes that learning English will give her greater possibility for work at the hotel where she is currently employed.
We are so thankful to have Santiago, Randy, Kevin and Virginia as part of the CDL family. Please pray for Virginia, that God would heal her heart from all that she’s been through and give her the strength and wisdom that she needs each day in raising her sons.
