My Story

Emily is the daughter of single mother, Belinda. She and her little brother, Mateo, attend CDL’s Children’s Center. They have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the Winter of 2025. Emily’s mother came to CDL asking for help when their family situation changed suddenly. They are originally from Mexico City but came to Primo Tapia in search of a better job and more stability for her family. Emily is a very sweet and quiet little girl who loves attending CDL. Her mother has been an active part of our women’s bible study and at Easter she was baptized at our local church, La Hermosa. We are so thankful to have Emily and her family with us at Casa de Luz, and we can’t wait to see all God will do in and through them.
