My Story

Diego and his younger sisters, Nathalia and Leah, and their single mom Yareli have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the winter of 2020. Yareli arrived at CDL desperately seeking help with her children, when she had recently found a job at a local salon and had no one to care for her children while she worked. Diego and his siblings have thrived amidst the loving and stable environment of Casa de Luz. Diego is a very friendly little boy with a lot of energy and personality. He loves dirt bikes and can often be found playing soccer with his friends while at CDL. It is so evident that he loves learning, playing, and being here with us! We are so thankful to have Diego and his family with us at CDL and look forward to all that God is going to do in his life and family.
