My Story

Diego, his younger brother Cesar, and their single mom Yessenia have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the winter of 2020. Diego loves to play video games with the other boys at the Youth Mentorship program. He is very friendly and outgoing and has made lots of friends in the CDL family! Diego and his brother have thrived amidst the loving and stable environment of Casa de Luz. His mother Yesenia recently graduated with an accounting degree from a local university and got her first job at a local real estate firm. She tells us that she would like to get closer to God, and she asks that you pray for family unity. We are so thankful to have Diego and his family with us at CDL and look forward to all that God is going to do in his life and family.
