My Story

Renata and her older sister Alondra have been a part of the CDL family since the summer of 2021. Renata's mother Marlene came to CDL asking for help after she separated from her husband and had no one to care for her daughters while she worked. Though she initially found it hard to be away from her mom, Renata is now thriving among the stability and care that CDL has provided for her. She has made many new friends in the CDL nursery where her favourite things are playing with the dolls and dancing. She also loves horses, rodeos, and dressing up as a cowgirl! It has been a joy having her with us at CDL, and we are anxiously expectant to see all that God is going to do in her life and in her family.
