My Story

Cristian and his mother Ivon have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2021. Cristian is a typical busy little boy who loves playing with cars and trucks, but dinosaurs are his favorite! It has been a joy to see how Cristian has thrived amidst the stability and love that CDL has provided for him. Cristian’s mother, Ivon, came to CDL asking for help after separating from Cristian’s father. She moved from where she had been living and had no one in Primo Tapia to support her with her child while she worked. Ivon works at a local restaurant in order to provide for her and Cristian’s needs, and she also stamps necklaces that are for sale in through Casa de Luz Co. We are so thankful to have Cristian and Ivon as part of the CDL family. Please pray for them, that God would provide for their family and give Ivon the strength, healing and peace that she seeks.
