My Story

Ana is the great-grandmother of Esteban and his younger brother Iker. She came to Casa de Luz in the fall of 2021, when she began providing full-time care for her great grandsons and was desperate for help. Iker and Esteban were struggling in many ways and needed the support and love of CDL. When we told Ana that her great-grandsons were accepted into CDL, she cried tears of relief that “her boys” would be in a safe place and hat they would be learning and growing in the healthy environment provided for them at CDL. Each time we talk to her, Ana cries tears of thankfulness for the help and support that she has received. Since becoming a part of the CDL family, Esteban has integrated well into his class. Esteban’s favorite color is blue, and he can often be found drawing or playing with his friends at CDL. Please pray for Esteban, Iker, and their great-grandmother Ana, that God would provide for them, meet their needs, and that He would be very close to their family.
