My Story

Nancy, her older sister Marlene, and her mother Marisol have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the fall of 2022. They recently moved from another Mexican state, and Marisol had begun working at a restaurant owned by CDL mom Marilu. She had no one to care for her daughters while she worked. Nancy loves spending her days at Casa de Luz. She has made many good friends, her favorite color is red, and her favorite activity is playing bingo. Slowly we see Nancy and her family begin to heal from all that they’ve been through. We even see them begin to dream again. Marlene’s mom Marisol dreams of having a car one day. We are so thankful to have Nancy and her family here with us at Casa de Luz, and we look forward to all that God is going to do in and through them.
