As we have sadly seen in many family stories here in Mexico, because of drugs, parents have abandoned their families and decided to go their separate ways. 

This is the story of Amaia's family. A few months after her father was admitted to a rehabilitation center, they were left in the care of her grandmother, who has been a great support. However, she is also elderly and having to go out to take her young grandchildren to and from work is tiring for her. Furthermore, Liliana wasn't working so as not to burden her grandmother too much.  The situation became increasingly difficult, marked by poverty. 

But Liliana had the courage to ask for help again and reach out to CDL.
