My Story

Brayan and his younger sister Perla are the children of single mom, Alma. Brayan is a very active little boy who is always smiling. He loves to play soccer with his new friends at CDL. Brayan and his sister have been a part of CDL since the Fall of 2023. Their mom came to us asking for help after she heard about CDL from another Casa de Luz mom who she works cleaning houses with. Brayan’s mom had been taking her children to work with her as she had no one to watch them while she was there. We are so thankful that she reached out for help and the children now have safety and care each day, and their mother can have a calm heart and mind, knowing they are taken care of while she works. Brayan can now attend school regularly, has the stability and care he needs, and is surrounded by a supportive community at CDL. We ask that you join us in praying that God would restore his heart and that Brayan and his family would experience the hope and love of Jesus’ healing in their lives.
