My Story

Jacqueline is the daughter of single mom, Irene. They have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the Fall of 2023. Jacqueline is a very serious and shy little girl, though she is also very sweet. She loves playing with dolls and with play- doh. Jacqueline’s father passed away, leaving her mom to provide for her on her own. Her mom came to CDL asking for help because she didn’t have anyone to care for Jacqueline while she worked in a local hotel. We are so thankful to have Jacqueline and her mom with us at CDL and we pray that their hearts will continue to heal as they settle into the love, care and stability of their days.
