My Story

Emily is the daughter of single mother, Monica. They have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the Spring of 2024. Emily is a very sweet and joyful little girl who gives the biggest smiles and best hugs! She loves the colour pink and playing games with the other little girls in her class. Emily’s mom came to CDL asking for help because after being separated from Emily’s father for many years due to his addictions, she was finding it increasingly difficult to provide for Emily on her own and had no one to care for her while she was at work. We are so thankful that Monica came to CDL and that her and Emily are now a part of our family. We look forward to all that God will do in and through them.
