My Story

Jocelyn and her older sister Madeline are the daughters of single mother Anayeli. Anayeli came to Primo Tapia from a southern Mexican state in search of a better life for her daughters. She made the difficult decision to leave the life of instability and neglect that they had previously known and came searching for work so that she could provide for her daughters on her own. They came to Casa de Luz in the spring of 2024 because Anayeli had no one to care for her daughters while she worked. Jocelyn is a beautiful smiley baby who loves to be at Casa de Luz. She has adapted very well to her teachers and the other children in her class. We are so thankful to have Jocelyn, her sister and her mom with us and we are excited to see all that God will do in and through them.
