My Story

Cristopher and his younger brothers Dylan and Aaron are the children of single mother, Maribel. Cristopher has been a part of Casa de Luz since the Fall of 2024 when Maribel came to us asking for help. She had been a single mother for a while and was struggling to provide for her children on her own. Maribel works very long hours at a nearby grocery store and didn’t have anyone to care for her children while she worked. Cristopher attends our youth program, La Ola, and is currently taking online classes with help from his youth mentors. He is a very kind boy and has enjoyed participating in all of the youth activities.
