My Story

Alondra and her single mother, Adriana, came to Casa de Luz asking for help after a very difficult season in their home. Adriana made the decision to leave the life they were currently living hoping for more safety and stability for her daughter. While she was trying to provide for her alone, there was simply never enough. Alondra is a very sweet and intelligent little girl. She has begun to make friends at Casa de Luz, to learn about Jesus, and to grow in her confidence. Adriana shared with us that her dream is to buy land and build her own house one day so that she doesn’t have to rely on anyone else and she can create a safe space for her and her daughter. We pray that God would heal their hearts and restore their lives as they come to know His love for them.
