My Story

Maidelyn is the oldest daughter of single mother, Anayeli. She has a little sister, Jocelyn, who attends CDL’s Children’s Center with her. Anayeli came to Casa de Luz asking for help after separating from her daughter's father because he lacked responsibility and failed to provide for their needs. She moved from the state of Michoacán to Rosarito in search of a better quality of life for her and her daughters, but she had no one to care for them while she worked. We are so thankful to have Maidelyn at CDL with us and we pray that in time she will heal from all that she has lived.
