My Story

Fausto is the only child of single mother, Bianca. Bianca came to Casa de Luz seeking help because her son was being left home alone while she worked to provide. Bianca works in Tijuana and her days are very long. She also has the responsibility of caring for her mother. Due to her mother’s failing health, Bianca has to stay with her at night. This left Fausto spending many hours of his day at home alone or in the care of his aunt. We are so thankful Fausto’s mom came to us asking for support. Fausto is a quiet but pleasant and kind child. You can often find him building lego or playing board games with his friends at Casa de Luz.
