My Story

Charlotte is the only child of single mother, Marari. Marari came to us asking for help when she moved to Primo Tapia from Mexico City. They have been part of the CDL family since the Spring of 2025. Charlotte stayed in the care of her grandmother while her mom worked, but she is very elderly and could not give Charlotte the care she needed. Charlotte would sometimes have to go to work all day with her mother because she had no one else to care for her. Charlotte is a sweet and quiet little girl who loves colouring and playing with her new friends. We are so thankful that she now has the care and support she needs every day at Casa de Luz.
