Mateo is the son of single mother, Belinda. He and his older sister, Emily, attend CDL’s Children’s Center. They have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the Winter of 2025. Mateo’s mother came to CDL asking for help when their family situation changed suddenly. They are originally from Mexico City but came to Primo Tapia in search of a better job and more stability for her family. Mateo is a sweet and energetic little boy who loves to play outside. His mother has been an active part of our women’s bible study and at Easter she was baptized at our local church, La Hermosa. We are so thankful to have Mateo and his family with us at Casa de Luz, and we can’t wait to see all God will do in and through them.
