My Story

 Juan Manuel is the oldest son of single mother, Dulce. His little sister Natalia attends CDL’s Children’s Center with him each day. Juan’s mother came to Casa de Luz looking for help after moving with her children to Primo Tapia and not having anyone to support them. Juan’s mother works at Marilu’s restaurant which is owned and operated by a former CDL mom. Since starting at CDL she has also started to attend our women’s bible study group, Flourish. Juan is a very calm and helpful boy. We are so thankful to have him with us at CDL and that he now has the stability he needs in his life. We look forward to seeing all that God will do in and through this family.
