My Story

Nathalia is the youngest daughter of single mother, Dulce. Her older brother Juan attends CDL’s Children’s Center with him each day. Nathalia’s mother came to Casa de Luz looking for help after moving with her children to Primo Tapia from Michoacan and not having anyone to support them. Nathalia’s mother works at Marilu’s restaurant which is owned and operated by a former CDL mom. Since starting at CDL she has also started to attend our women’s bible study group, Flourish. Nathalia is a very friendly, chatty and playful little girl. Unfortunately, before coming to CDL she missed a lot of school, so we are working to get her caught up to where she needs to be. We look forward to seeing all that God will do in and through this family.
