Zaid and his brother, Christopher, are the children of single mother, Araceli. She came to Casa de Luz for help because she was struggling to provide for her children on her own and she has no other family nearby to support her. Araceli was nervous to leave her children at CDL with ‘strangers’ but has come to realize that it is an incredible support for her as she raises her children. Zaid is a curious and talkative little boy who loves making friends. He loves learning about God and has asked his mother if they can attend church. We are so thankful to have Zaid and his family with us at CDL and we look forward to all that God will do in and through them.
