Gael and his brother Owen are the children of single mother, Lupita. They arrived at Casa de Luz in the summer of 2025. Gael’s mother had recently become a single mother after his father had to be admitted to a rehabilitation center for drug addiction. This is when she came to CDL asking for help. 

Gael is an energetic boy who loves to play with other kids. We are so thankful to have him with us at CDL, and we pray God’s protection over them as they settle into a new way of life.
