My Story

Aaron, his twin sister Akane, and his older brother (Jesus) and sister (Valeria) are the children of single mother, Lidia. Aaron started at Casa de Luz in the summer of 2025 when Lidia came to us asking for help. She was struggling to provide for her four children on her own. Tragically, Aaron’s family lost everything they had in a devastating fire in 2024. Since then, his mother has been working hard to rebuild their family and all they need. Aaron is a calm and very friendly child who has settled well into CDL. We are so thankful to have his family with us and we pray for healing from all that they have lived.
