My Story

Valeria and her brothers and sister (Aaron, Akane and Jesus) are the children of single mother, Lidia. Valeria started at Casa de Luz in the summer of 2025 when Lidia came to us asking for help. She was struggling to provide for her four children on her own. Tragically, Valeria's family lost everything they had in a devastating fire in 2024. Since then, her mother has been working hard to rebuild their family and all they need. Valeria is a very sweet girl. She is a bit shy but also has good friendships around her. She is very generous and takes incredible care of her siblings. We are so thankful to have this family with us, and we pray for healing from all that they have lived.
