My Story

Bayron is the only child of single father, Gerardo. Gerardo came to CDL asking for help as he was struggling to care for his son and work to provide for him on his own. Bayron’s father has been fighting to do what’s best for his son, including taking on care for him. When Bayron arrived at Casa de Luz, he was very shy but over time we have seen him begin to make friends and to see his cheerful personality emerge. We are so thankful that his father requested our help, and we are glad to be able to support this family as they journey towards a brighter future!
