My Story

Luna and her twin sister, Mia, along with their siblings Yessenia, Cesar, and Sussan are the daughter of single mother Yessenia. They have been a part of Casa de Luz since the winter of 2025. Yessenia came to CDL asking for support cautiously because she was very unsure about trusting her children with ‘strangers’ but she knew she needed help. Yessenia is a widow and was struggling to provide for her 5 children on her own. Luna is a sweet little girl who is full of energy, is very friendly and curious. We are so thankful to have Luna’s family with us at CDL and we look forward to all God will do in and through them.
