My Story

Dilan and his grandmother have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the winter of 2026. Dilan’s grandmother came to us asking for help after she had been granted custody of her grandson and knew that he needed more than she could offer him each day. We are so thankful she had the courage to ask for help and support as she raises her grandson, wanting a better life for him. Dilan is a very smiley little boy who has settled well into Casa de Luz. We are so thankful to have him and his grandmother with us at CDL.
