My Story

Fernanda and her older siblings, Jonathan and Leamsi, are the children of CDL staff member Ismael. They have been an important part of the CDL community since the winter of 2013. Ismael (“May”) works with our grade 5 and 6 children at CDL, providing outstanding care and mentorship for children aged 8-11 years old. He is a spiritual father to many children here.  

 Fernanda is a very friendly, creative and outgoing little girl who loves playing with her friends. She is filled with joy and is a delight to be around. Fernanda and her family are very grateful to be at CDL and enjoy being part of all God is doing in and through the ministry. We are incredibly thankful they are part of Casa de Luz.
