My Story

Ivana, her older brother Rafael, and her little sister Dayra are the children of CDL staff member Becky. Ivana is a very thoughtful, kind, creative, and friendly girl who enjoys making bracelets and spending time with her friends. She loves when teams from Canada come to visit CDL! She loves learning English and learning about her “Canadian friends” (sponsor families). Ivana and her family have been a part of the CDL family since the Spring of 2018. Becky is the leader of CDL’s Youth Mentorship Program, providing structure and mentorship to our Youth Mentorship program. Ivana's Dad, Rafael, works in a local lobster restaurant as a waiter. Ivana and her family are very happy to be a part of CDL, and a part of all God is doing in and through CDL’s ministry.
