My Story

Renata is the only daughter of single mother, Laura. Renata is a quiet, but extremely intelligent little girl. In Kindergarten she was already reading full sentences and paragraphs, and she has continued to excel in her schooling. This past year, Renata received many awards for her educational achievement. Though she is reserved, she is full of joy as she plays with her friends at CDL. Since becoming part of Casa de Luz, Renata’s Mom Laura finished her university degree in Business Administration and has a job working at a local real estate company. Laura is an incredibly hardworking and dedicated Mother, and we have been so impressed and encouraged to see how she has worked hard to fulfill her dreams of studying at the university and giving her daughter a better future than what she grew up with! We continue to pray for this family, that God would bless and strengthen Laura and really touch her heart so that her family can realize the dreams and plans that God has for them.
