Hi! I’m Luis. I joined CDL when I moved to Primo Tapia at 17 years old. With the help of CDL’s Scholarship Program, I attended University and graduated with a degree in Mechatronic Engineering.

I have always had the mind of a problem-solver, to figure things out when it doesn’t look like there is a way. After graduation, I used these skills to design, develop, and repair the automation process for automotive companies.

Then, I began to pray about where I could use my skills, while also serving my community and the people in it. This was when God opened the doors to join CDL as staff and work with CDL’s businesses operating locally, giving oversight and direction.

I love being a part of CDL because I believe when we come together to serve as a team using the gifts and abilities God has given, we can do more than on our own. I love knowing that I am part of something bigger that God is doing in my town and through this ministry.
