We’re the Wielers! Joe, Karlena, and our 4 children. We moved to Primo Tapia in 2024 to fill the role of Construction Site Manager for CDL, where Joe works and serves alongside the local construction crew.
We were attending church one Sunday when we heard about Casa de Luz from current CDL missionaries and we felt God’s call to bring Joe’s 20+ years of construction, electrical, and site supervisor skills to the mission field.
We are constantly inspired by the work happening through CDL and the local church, La Hermosa and we are honoured to be a part of all that God is doing in Primo Tapia.
We are thankful to be able to use our gifts to serve the community through Joe’s construction skills, Karlena’s administration gifts, and our kid's joy in being with all the kids at CDL’s Children’s Center.
