Single Mother, 3 Children
Playing Barbies at CDL
Naomi and her older sister, Aylin and younger brother, Efraim have been at Casa de Luz since February of 2019. Naomi is a shy but friendly little girl who loves the color purple, loves playing Barbies, and loves playing with her siblings. Naomi, Aylin and Efraim have flourished since being at CDL, really finding their place in their classes, with their teachers and new friends. They have been through a lot of changes and moves in their family, and desperately needed a safe, stable place where they could settle. Naomi's Mom, Carla, is a very hard-working and dedicated Mom who works very hard at a local grocery store to provide for her children. She is also finishing her high school education with us as part of CDL’s Adult Education Completion Program. Carla dreams of finishing her studies so that she can give a better future to her children, and she also dreams of owning her own home one day. Since they have come to CDL, Carla and her children have finally found the stability that they so desperately needed in their lives. We are so thankful that God has given us the opportunity to partner with this family, and we are excited to see all that God is going to do in and through them.
