My Story

Darinka and her older sisters, Violeta and Lucero, and her mother Maritza, have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Darinka has loved being a part of CDL! She has lots of friends and has thrived amidst the healthy, stable, safe environment that CDL has provided her. She loves the color pink, playing with puzzles, coloring, playiing with dolls, and using her imagination with the other girls in her classroom. In the summer of 2021, Maritza began her own small business and now sells freshly squeezed juices at her own juice stand during the summer months. It has been a joy to have Darinka and her family at CDL, and are so thankful for what God is doing in her life and in her family!
