My Story

Violeta and her sisters Darinka and Lucero, and her single Mother Maritza, have been a part of the CDL family since the fall of 2019. Violeta has loved being a part of CDL! She has lots of friends and has thrived in the healthy, stable, safe environment that CDL has provided her. She loves the color purple, drawing, painting and making crafts with the other girls in her classroom. She also loves to play on the park at CDL  In the summer of 2021, Maritza began her own small business and now sells freshly squeezed juices at her own juice stand. It has been a joy to have Violeta and her family at CDL, and we look forward with expectation at what God is going to do in her life and in her family!
