My Story

Veyrani Zoe and her mother Mayra have been a part of the CDL family since the winter of 2021. Mayra came to CDL asking for help after she separated from her husband and had no one to care for her daughter while she worked at a local restaurant. Zoe is a very friendly and outgoing little girl who has really loved being a part of CDL’s Children’s Center! Though she was shy when she started, over this past year we have seen her make great progress in her reading and spelling! Zoe has made many new friends, and really loves the crafts and activities that she does in her CDL classroom. Her favorite things are the color pink and stuffed animal horses. We are so thankful to have Mayra and Zoe as part of the CDL family and look forward with expectation at what God is going to do in their lives.
