My Story

Maria and her older sister, Katherine, are the children of single mother, Elizabeth. Maria’s mom came to Casa de Luz asking for help in the spring of 2023 because she had no one to care for her children while she worked. We are so thankful to have them with us now at Casa de Luz. Maria is currently thriving! She is a very smiley and cheerful baby who is meeting all of her developmental milestones. 

Maria’s mom works in a local supermarket and would have to take her children to work with her but was afraid she would lose her job because of this and then have no way to provide for them. This is where she learned of Casa de Luz.  

We are so thankful to have Maria and her family with us at CDL. Please pray for Maria and her sister Katherine, that God would heal their hearts from all that they have been through, and for Elizabeth, that God would give her the strength and peace that she seeks.
