My Story

Ian and his mother Patty have been a part of the Casa de Luz family since the fall of 2022. Patty came to Casa de Luz desperately asking for help, as she was working cleaning condominiums and had no one to care for her son while she worked. As a result, she was taking him to work with her, or missing work and struggling to provide for him. Ian loves spending his days at CDL! He has made friends in his class and loves playing on the park with them. He is learning so much from his CDL teacher! Patty is beginning to heal, as well, from all that she has been through. She is dreaming again, and dreams of finishing her high school education one day! She asks that you pray that she would have peace, and that she would feel God’s presence with her once again. We are thankful to have Ian and Patty with us at CDL and look forward to all that God is going to do in and through them.
